This fall, pack your bags and leave room for some boots with the exclusive Texas Boot Camp program. Lucchese, in partnership with Four Seasons Hotel Austin, invites guests to kick up their heels this fall for a luxe getaway that embodies both Texas soul and new soles.
Scheduled for September 26 - 28, 2014 and December 5 - 7, 2014, the weekend experiences allow guests the chance to work with one of Lucchese’s master artisans to craft a one-of-a-kind pair of cowboy boots, as well as opportunities to dine and dance around Austin in true Texas style. Additionally, guests are invited to be among the first to experience Four Seasons’ multi-million dollar redesigned luxury guest rooms that capture the essence of downtown elegance.
Included in each Texas Boot Camp weekend:
- One-on-one meeting with a Lucchese master bootmaker to design a pair of custom boots
- Lunch from Franklin Barbecue, recently named the #1 barbecue restaurant in the US
- A night of dancing and two-stepping lessons at Austin’s legendary Broken Spoke
- Two nights luxurious accommodation at top-rated Four Seasons Hotel Austin
- “Roll Call” welcome reception overlooking Lady Bird Lake, featuring Texas appetizers and cocktails
“Lucchese is like the Four Seasons of cowboy boots, with unmatched attention to detail, high-end craftsmanship and a respected legacy in the Lone Star state,” says Rob Hagelberg, General Manager of the 291-room hotel in downtown Austin. “Knowing we wanted to provide a quintessential Texas experience centred around this sought-after souvenir, the partnership was a natural fit.”
Indeed, among the vast array of design options are leathers ranging from royal calf to bison, buffalo and suede in a variety of colors and textures. Those who prefer exotic skins can take their pick from crocodile, ostrich, python, stingray and even rattlesnake, or they can combine skins and flat leathers for a unique look. Additional decisions camp attendees will face are stitch patterns, color choices, toe shapes, heel style, shaft height and more, all to ensure the finished product is customized to their exact preferences.
Due to the exclusive nature of the offering, only 16 spots are available each weekend, with pricing starting at USD 1,147.00 for single occupancy; additional guests are USD 125.00 each with a maximum occupancy of three people per room. Please note, because of the wide variety of materials and detailing associated with custom boot designs, the cost of each guest’s Lucchese boots is additional and not included in the package price.
