Big Ole Al is crafted from our pioneering Nubuck Giant Gator, where each hide is buffed to soften scales while preserving the organic plate patterns. The result is an ultra-supple, velvety hand with a matte, understated sheen that feels wild. The Albert inlay alludes to lily pads drifting across a Southern swamp, giving Big Ole Al a sense of life and motion. Big Ole Al, at his core, is a nod to the material itself. He rolls in slow and lands heavy, the long open vowels stretching in easy assonance before settling into that grounded final note.
