Men's boots are sized in D and EE widths. D = average to medium EE = wide Women's boots are sized in A, B, and C widths. A = narrow B = average to medium and C = wide A general rule of thumb is the further you get from the letter A, the wider the boot is.

(⅞” wide) 6 MEDIUM ROUND TOE A traditional rounded western toe, it is timeless and elegant. 5 - SNIP TOE Originally made for getting in and out of a stirrup, the snip toe is pointed for a traditional look. (5/8:” wide) S TOE Found on dress and casual styles; this rounded toe abuts a squared off outsole for a distinguished look. S5 - 5 TOE WITH A SPRING Our 5 toe with a pronounced upward curvature of the toe box. (⅝” wide) R - ROPER TOE The roper toe is rounded and has a u-shape that is most like a normal shoe toe shape. C TOE Similar to the roper toe, the C toe has a slightly less rounded u-shape; often found on work boots. X1 - FRENCH TOE Found on dress boots; this rounded toe abuts a squared off outsole for a distinguished look. (1” wide) Z TOE The narrow rounded toe is close to a common dress shoe as it narrows. 2 TOE A more narrow rounded toe that almost comes to a point is found on traditional western styles.
