Lucchese boots generally run true to size, but don’t be surprised if your western boot’s size is slightly smaller than your dress shoe size due to its construction. Consult our Fit Guide for an expansive understanding of your true fit.

Width

Men's boots are sized in D and EE widths.
D = average to medium EE = wide

Women's boots are sized in A, B, and C widths.
A = narrow B = average to medium and C = wide

A general rule of thumb is the further you get from the letter A, the wider the boot is.

TOES
Q TOE Modeled as a hybrid toe, it is highlighted by its squared-off edge and low profile. (1 ¼” wide)
W TOE Our modern square toe is found on walking & riding boots and is known for its comfort. (1 ½” wide)
7 WESTERN SQUARE TOE A modern take on the classic western style, this square toe is one of our most popular. (⅞” wide)
6 MEDIUM ROUND TOE A traditional rounded western toe, it is timeless and elegant.
5 - SNIP TOE Originally made for getting in and out of a stirrup, the snip toe is pointed for a traditional look. (5/8:” wide)
S TOE Found on dress and casual styles; this rounded toe abuts a squared off outsole for a distinguished look.
S5 - 5 TOE WITH A SPRING Our 5 toe with a pronounced upward curvature of the toe box. (⅝” wide)
R - ROPER TOE The roper toe is rounded and has a u-shape that is most like a normal shoe toe shape.
C TOE Similar to the roper toe, the C toe has a slightly less rounded u-shape; often found on work boots.
X1 - FRENCH TOE Found on dress boots; this rounded toe abuts a squared off outsole for a distinguished look. (1” wide)
Z TOE The narrow rounded toe is close to a common dress shoe as it narrows.
2 TOE A more narrow rounded toe that almost comes to a point is found on traditional western styles.
K TOE This is a rounded toe with a defined squared off outsole for contrast.

Stead is the product of innovation, development and faithful tradition - a silhouette that bridges the gap between Lucchese's western, roper and horseman collections. Mule Ear pull straps coupled with Torero side seams highlight the contrasting color-blocked quarters. Midsoles are added to the boots to offer more stability and durability, affording their owner an extended lifetime of wear. The design and sinuous cuts of the Stead are explicit expressions of Lucchese's DNA. Handmade in Texas.

Suede

Suede is made from the inside of an animal skin (whereas other leathers are the outside of the skin). It has a distinctive shaggy nap. This stead suede features a sandwich-like detail where the cutaway edges showcase a distinct vibrant color that complements the rugged nap. The beautifully rich suede colors bring playfulness while the texture adds character.

Instructions

Clean: Remove loose dust and dirt with a stiff bristle brush. Condition: Apply Lucchese Leather Conditioner liberally. Protect: Apply Lucchese Premium Leather Protector.
