Aston Martin and James Bond is a combination which has left an indelible mark on pop culture. That’s why Music City Motor Cars in Franklin, Tennessee embraced a James Bond theme as they launched the Aston Martin brand this week. And for those looking to make a discriminating fashion statement, Lucchese was on hand showcasing custom boots and exotic skins.
Guests were greeted at the door with a playlist of James Bond theme songs along with a glass of Champagne Bollinger, which has been featured in almost every Bond movie since Live and Let Die. Tim Brinkmann of Brinkmann’s Wine & Spirits selected Caymus wine and guests were treated to a full bar along with super-chilled 007 martinis that were funneled through a luge ice carving bearing the famous Aston Martin logo.
Surrounding the soulful, power iconic automobiles, guests enjoyed Wild Ginger’s tastings including Bao buns with brisket, crostini with smoked salmon, Kamikaze Maki, California roll and their decadent brownie. Principal Cigars shared an array of brands with the customers which put an exclamation point on the evening.
