Mad Dog Goat DESCRIPTION

A timeless wardrobe essential, Mad Dog goat is abrasion resistant and naturally soft. Oils and waxes used in the tanning process bring out the distinctive grain and allow scratches or scuffs to blend in with continued wear. In time, this leather lightens in some places and burnishes in others, creating a covetable vintage patina.

THE LUCCHESE CONSTRUCTION

Using only the highest quality smooth and exotic leathers, Lucchese builds a boot that is designed to hug a person’s foot thanks to our proprietary last. For this perfect final touch, our expert bootmakers use a variety of finishing techniques that include weathering, burnishing, and hand-staining.

THE LUCCHESE FIT

Lucchese Bootmaker uses time-honored craftsmanship techniques to build handmade boots of unrivaled fit, comfort, and style. Because of their hand-lasted nature, each pair of Lucchese boots differs slightly. With more wear, the leather on the boots molds to the contours of the foot, personalizing both boot and fit.

What does quality mean to you?
(personally and within your industry)

It's superior grade, function, and longevity. Quality within the creative world, is having an idea that is bulletproof, meaning that it’s a fresh, well-thought out concept with all angles covered so nothing can poke holes through it. True quality is undeniable, where even your competitors have to tip their hat.

Is timeless style & design important to you?
Why or why not?

Yeah, to me anything considered to be timeless goes hand-in-hand with quality. Things that get better with age and are still relevant after decades of use are very appealing to me. I like to surround myself with items that embraced the wear and tear and will continue doing so long after I’m gone. (I call them heirloom products / ideas)

What does a pair of well broken-in boots mean to you?

Invaluable. Nobody can buy what someone puts into their broken in boots. They are an extension or reflection of the person who put in the work. Like an old friend that knows you well. Every scrape and scar has something to say.
