Stonewashing is a technique used to distress the materials we use to make your boots. It gives a coveted, worn look to the product and it's literally what it sounds like.

Once we build a pair of boots, right down to their hand-painted soles, they're tumbled in a large clothes dryer with pumice stones.

Afterward, the boots are cleaned and finished, but they retain the nicks and scuffs that lend a rugged character that is unique in the world.
