The Military Warriors Support Foundation (MWSF) is a 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization that provides support for combat-wounded military service members by offering programs that facilitate a successful transition back to civilian life.
Based in San Antonio, Texas, the MWSF offers a home donation program, job placement assistance, life skills/mentoring opportunities to the nation’s wounded heroes.
2010 proved rewarding:
- Homes4WoundedHeroes program has awarded 10 homes to wounded heroes and their families. They were able to present the homes to honor the families and our support partnerships at NFL games such as Cowboys Stadium, the Meadowlands, and NBA games at AT&T Center and PGA Tour Events among others.
- MWSF place some 70 Heroes and uncounted spouses in jobs through our CEOs4Heroes program.
- Skills4Life mentoring program has assisted some 400 troops and family members through a variety of ways including educational assistance support, financial planning, direct mentoring and a multitude of hunting, sporting and recreation programs.

For 2011, MWSF has committed to award in the 12-18 months, 100 plus homes with a 5 year goal of 1,000. The homes placement locations are nationwide. To support the ongoing donation of homes we will be raising a home support target 15.6K per home in funds to help faith become reality. The funds will facilitate the placement of settling the family into a home and any first modifications to the homes.
Then, through the next three years, MWSF will provide financial counseling and directly mentor and support the family in order to teach them how to own a home. At the end of the three years, they will turn the home over to them. The homes are mortgage free to the family from Day 1.
